Weekend Recap

The weekend was wonderful, starting with fun Friday! The boy and I met up with some friends downtown for a HH. My friends had tables outside and inside so it was nice to kind of float back and forth. There were a lot of faces there that I had not seen in a while who had flown in just for the HH. Great to catch up with friends. The boy had a good time too. This is a great group of people that I have not had the opportunity to see as much of since I left that job and since I am on a client site and not downtown.I was also very excited because when I got home from work on Friday my Preppy Potato belts had arrived!I had to put it on immediately of course, and when the boy met me at my house the first thing he said was, you are going to need to give Barbie's belt back to her. Geez! I LOVE it though and I received a million compliments all weekend on it and passed along the web site to everyone. I will definitely be ordering a couple more for myself and a couple for gifts as well! I just love mine though!

On Saturday the boy and I met my mom at a sale and had a lot of fun there, but my mom had a cold so we told her to head home and take it easy and we went back to my house to get packed up for the weekend at the lake. On our way to the lake, we stopped by Winestyles of Woodbury. Our friend Chris just opened it, and Saturday was their grand opening. It is a fantastic store and if you don't know anything about Winestyles, and have one near you check it out. Here is my friend Barbara with her mom and dad, Chris her brother who owns the franchise is ringing us up.

These are great stores and they are laid out by the characteristics or style of the wine.

It makes buying a good bottle of wine easy for almost anyone, whether you know something about wine or you don't. They are all top quality wines and they are mainly under $25. They also have wonderful baskets and they do some great tastings as well. Of course we did not leave empty handed.

We got up to the lake and it was BEAUTIFUL! We raked up the leaves which stirred up my allergies big time, and then headed out to dinner with the boys parents, very nice.

Sunday was a gorgeous day, we finished the yard, got the patio and lawn furniture cleaned up and enjoyed some wine, cheese and crackers in the sun. It was a wonderful day and felt so good to just sit in the sun and enjoy everyones company! A good weekend overall!
