We Will Never Forget

Always Remember, Never Forget.

Yesterday the boy and I were talking about where we were 9/10. I remember exactly. I also remember every single moment of 9/11, I was in Midtown Manhattan. I do not however remember 9/9/2001, I do understand that all of our lives as Americans changed on 9/11 and will never be the same. I do know that the impact of 9/11 is far reaching and has changed the way that many all over the world go about their every day lives. I know, that I will never forget the feeling. I know that I will never forget every moment of that day and the days after. There is nary a day that goes by that I do not think about 9/11 in some way shape or form. Has it changed the way that I live, sure. Has it changed the way I think, sure. I do know, that I appreciate every single person that serves this country and fights to protect us and today, like every other day, I thank each and every one of them. God bless America.

I Too Remember, Every Day. . .

There is not a day that passes that I do not think about what was taken from me. But I also think about what was given to me, how it changed my life, how it made me think differently, how it made me appreciate who and what I have so much more. Thank you. For protection, for my safety, for giving your life and making mine safer. Thank you for making me appreciate and see the beauty in things I never would have looked twice at. Thank you for making me appreciate each day in a different way. I will always remember, I will never forget.
