Do your feet shrink?

I have to be taped for 10 minutes today talking about one of my projects for work, which will then be edited and shown at our National Conference. I was only told about this yesterday, but of course I was nervous about what I would look like and what I would wear. I wasn't that concerned about what I would speak about or how I would sound on camera. I know my projects inside and out and there is not much you can do about your voice it is what it is, and no one has ever told me I sound funny, but my voice fits me. So, I went with the browm palette for fall today, no biggee, but when I went to put on my brown crocidile heels, they felt rather large, like a half of a size large. Can your feet shrink? As I left for work they were sliding off of my heels. Felt strange. Made it to work and parked at Princess Parking (underground, heated, they will wash and detail your car, just some of the perks plus it is very close to the skyway to my building) and proceeded to head through the skyway to my building. Something very sharp was poking me in the tender underside part of my foot. It really hurt, very sharp. I finally made it to my office and when I sat down in my chair to examine my foot, to my surprise, there were two holes in the bottom of my (new Ann Taylor) stockings and my foot was bleeding. There was also a very small sliver of glass sticking out and it really hurt. I was able to get most of it out, but it really hurt and it is a mystery as to how it got there. At lunch the plan is to go in search of new brown heels that fit. An impulse purchase, but all the same something that needs to be done.

We went to see Invincible last night. Good movie, we both really enjoyed it. Sometimes I like going to the movies when there are only about three of us in the theater, but some movies are better to see with a crowd. This one it really didn't matter but it was good.

I have been busy making plans for the next couple of weekends and such. I cannot believe that next weekend is October already, I am not really sure what happened to September. The Twins look as though they will be in the playoffs and I have tickets so I have been figuring plans out for that as well. It looks as though some events that I had wanted to get to will pass me by, but that is the way it goes sometimes. With the boy and the house and other functions that have come up, it is just hard to get to everything I guess.

I would like to plan a weekend getaway, not sure where or when, but I may start looking into a foilage trip, it would be nice to just get away and relax before my move. Will have to work on that I guess!

The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches but to reveal to him his own.
