Things I am Digging! Shoes!

As much as I love my Lilly, I love shoes. I have a lot of them, and I never seem to have enough. I also have a hard time parting with them. If they get worn or have a heel that is not up to snuff, I have it repaired. If they are not that comfortable after wearing them once, I give them a second shot. Usually I wind up with blisters both times, but oh well. I think I have about 60 pairs of flip flops and during the summer I basically live in them. The boys nephew asked me once while we were up at the lake why I had so many pairs of flip flops, I explained to him about my need to match. That seemed to resolve that one.

Being in an office setting on more of a regular basis, I have been wearing more "shoes". Working at home, even during the summer, I would wear a skirt and tee or polo, but with flip flops, at work, I wear "shoes". I have picked up a few pairs recently that I just LOVE and they are SO comfortable AND they even make me a little taller, but the best part? They go with so much! All of the below shoes are from 6PM which is a rather new discovery for me, but they seem to have some really good deals.

And then of course, I needed a new pair of Eliza B's.
Now, I need to figure out how to pack for a week up at the lake. Even though we rarely go anywhere other than just hanging out at the lake, I like to be prepared. We also may go over to see my sister and her family. I like to have quite a few swimsuits as well as matching coverups and flip flops. I also need yoga pants and tees for our morning walks, and then dresses and skirts for BBQ's. Its a lot to pack and coordinate. I am actually hoping that the boy and I go over to Carlsona where we had dinner this past weekend. I really enjoyed getting out and about a little.

We have the Presidents Social coming up for JLM in a couple of weeks and it has a patriotic theme. And we are supposed to dress patriotic, so I am trying to come up with something. I may see what kind of a Lilly dress I can come up with. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Those are some fantastic shoes! I never wear anything but flats, but if I did, I would love to wear something like that!
