Oh What a Night!

The Mystery Beer Party was quite the success! We had a really good time and there was a great turnout. The whole neighborhood pretty much made an appearance at some point, and most of the neighborhood stayed. It was a long night and the boy hung in there right until the end. He had too many cocktails however, but staying the night was not a problem, but he wasn't comfortable so as soon as I fell asleep he did sneak out. Not a good idea, but he knows that too.

I picked up "It's a Girl Thing" sweatshirts for my girls out East, so that will be fun to bring them and it will be nice to all have the same sweatshirts. I could not find them ones exactly like mine, but they are still cute and I just love wearing mine.

So one of the girls at the party Saturday, the next door neighbor girl, who I commonly refer to as W.T. thought it would be cute to show her boobs to the boys. Women who need to get attention like that bother me. She was also trying to get with every male there, I am sure her husband just loved that. I don't follow, nor do I care. To each their own, I just wish she did not live right next door to my sister. Then next morning she showed up in her bathrobe as well. Oh bother!

I did have a really nice weekend with the boy though, he just becomes more and more wonderful every day and I am really going to miss him these next two weeks while he has reserve duty. I am glad I am not going to be here though. It might make missing him a little easier. I think that he is glad that I am going to be busy though as well. Friday night we had dinner at his brother and his girlfriends new house which was really nice. We have not really ever hung out with them so it was nice. Her boys had dinner with us as well. They are very typical 10 and 13 year old boys. Sometimes I think the boy fogets what it is like to be a kid.

I have to pick up the rest of our Vikings tickets tonight and then get laundry done and get packed. Prisonbreak is back on tonight too, I am looking forward to watching that as well. We are all going to the season home opener together, the boy, his brother and girlfriend, my sister and brother in law. Should be a really good time and a really busy weekend as well. I am hoping to move that weekend and the boy closes on the house he will be flipping that Friday. Just busy all the way around.

Need to plan out the next couple of days, tomorrow is the first meeting of my new wine group. I am looking forward to that and need to get some ideas down. It is Monday!

Quote of the day
