Fall is Right Around the Corner

It was kind of chilly here last night. You could just feel Fall trying to sneak in. I have been thinking about things that I need for my Fall wardrobe yet. I want to have some ideas before I head to New York next week so that I can be organized in my shopping. I also would like to pick up some sale Lilly to put away for next Summer too, or even a trip this Winter. I don't have any trips planned at the moment, but it would be fun to get away for a week somewhere warm with the boy. We will have to see how things go.

I did buy a couple of JCrew cashmere cable crews that were on sale (extra 20% off ends today) this morning online, so I can cross that off the list. I am upset though because I missed the chocolate that they had yesterday, I knew I should have ordered yesterday. I cannot wait to get my closet organized for Fall too. One thing I definitely need for Fall is a new bag. I plan on getting one in New York though, just not sure what I want yet for a good Fall basic. Maybe a new Burberry, will have to wait and see what strikes me.

We sat outside at my sister's last night and had cocktails. There were about 18 of us including kids. It was a good time, but it is getting dark so early now. By 9:30 it was pitch black. Makes me so sad that Summer is coming to an end.

So dinner with the boys brother and girlfriend tonight. Should be fun. I am going to pop over to Williams Sonoma at some point today and pick up the soap and lotion combo with the candle. Good housewarming and hostess gift and they gift wrap really nicely there so I will get it all knocked off in one shot. I really should pick up a couple of these just to have on hand. I wish there was a Pottery Barn downtown here too. A Restoration Hardware would be nice too.

Tomorrow is the party, still do not know what I am going to wear as the weather is a tad iffy at the moment. I need to get some laundry done too so that I can get packed on Sunday. Tonight is casual for dinner, the boy said jeans as we will be having a bonfire, so I will probably wear jeans and a polo with my JCrew argyle sweater or my pink "It's a Girl Thing" hoodie.
