On the Menu Monday (MPM) - Week 3

We had a really nice weekend. Friday we met friends out for dinner. Great place in Delano, Three Crows. Loved the atmosphere, good wine, great food and awesome company. Really nice evening. 
Saturday was such a nice day. Getting toipes spend the whole day with sister J, catching up, being pampered with a mani, pedi, great lunch, wonderful service and then she helped me plan the menu, do the shopping and stayed which was awesome. We really just got to spend the whole day catching up. Loved it. Dinner was really good as well. I made a couple of really good appetizers and then did braised lamb shanks over polenta. Everyone really enjoyed dinner too. 


Sunday we had a really nice turnout for our Pampered Chef/Steeped Tea Brunch. I made a really good egg bake that I will definitely be making again, some of the boys came too which was fun. 
Towards the end, a few of the girls stayed and we just hung out in the sitting room catching up and spending some girl time chatting about relationships, travel, dieting, food, restaurants, work and just life in general. It was SO nice and just reminds me what a fabulous group of people we know, really just makes me feel lucky. 
This week, some plans, some gym time and getting back into a good routine. We did NOT get laundry done this weekend, so I have to figure out when I can work remote and make sure that it gets done. We are also still cleaning our fridges and trying to whittle down leftovers that just seem to keep accumulating. 
Monday
Plans - dinner out, have to use a Groupon before it expires
Breakfast and Lunch - Blueberries, Blackberries, Strawberries, Clementines, Cottage Cheese and Vegetable Beef Soup
Dinner - Lord Fletchers, we love this place, luckily they have a nice fish selection
Tuesday
Plans - Bunco night! Look forward to this night every month with such a great group of girls in the 'hood!
Breakfast and Lunch - Blueberries, Blackberries, Strawberries, Clementines, Yogurt and Chicken Enchilada salad
Dinner - I am bring flat breads to Bunco. Fig jam, with pulled BBQ Pork, brie and jalapeno (SO GOOD!)
Wednesday
Plans - Gym after work, Cards with the girls after dinner We grocery shopped, Super Target, ran a couple of errands in the snow and just came home. LONG day!
Breakfast and Lunch - Blueberries, Blackberries, Strawberries, Clementines, Cottage Cheese and salad
Dinner - Cajun catfish, sauteed vegetables
Thursday
Plans - Gym after work or a movie depends on how things go at work Home
Breakfast and Lunch - Blueberries, Blackberries, Strawberries, Clementines, Yogurt and 
Dinner - If we stay home, then it will be Spinach and Feta stuffed chicken breasts  we picked up some chicken thighs, so I decided to try man pleasing chicken with steamed asparagus and a green salad
Friday
Plans - None at the moment We might go to  movie and dinner.
Breakfast and Lunch - Blueberries, Blackberries, Strawberries, Clementines, Cottage Cheese and 
Dinner - Greek Burgers 
Saturday
Plans - Spa day with C. Massage, facials, hair. I can't wait, I haven't been to this spa before, but other friends have.  Out with friends
Breakfast and Lunch - Yogurt, fruit
Dinner - Out
Sunday
Plans - Celebrating G & G's 13th birthdays bowling and pizza!
Breakfast and Lunch - Pizza, Wings - Cheat day!
Dinner - Something light, probably a salad

That appetizer looks amazing, I am going to have to try it. Is that goat cheese? Oh and that bread, yummy looking. Hope the lamb was delicious.
