On the Menu Monday (MPM) - Week 51

The last couple of years are coming to an end. I have already started thinking about 2013, an odd numbered year, for some reason I like even numbers better. I already have my calendars made and purchased and I have been working on cleaning, organizing and purging so that we can start 2013 with a clean slate!

This past weekend we didn't have big plans, but it had been a while since we had seen any movies, so we saw both Flight and Hitchcock. We also checked out two new (to us) restaurants. Pineda, not too far from us, and right near a movie theater, authentic Mexican food and tacos, very good and very fast! We also went to Buster's on 28th. We loved this place, it had been on my list of places to try, I am glad we finally got the opportunity to try it.

We also were back at Bacio Saturday night for a late dinner, cocktails and some live music. We love this place and it is quickly becoming out go to place. We have never had a bad meal, we get great service and it is the one place that I can get the boy to go to where he doesn't mind sitting and eating at the bar, which is what I am used to and prefer. I guess after traveling so much for work, having to eat alone, I just got used to it over time.

This week is sort of up in the air. Since we didn't travel last week, travel is up in the air at the moment. We may be traveling this week, Wednesday through Friday. I can honestly say I am not thrilled with traveling this week, but if we have to, I do understand. There are worse things in the world.

Here is how the week is shaping up!
