The theme this week was Sushi which L made and rolled by hand. I LOVE sushi although I can't eat any that includes shellfish due to an allergy, but the rest of it, I LOVE and absolutely crave it. They say that the key to sushi is the rice, and I definitely believe that. Most sushi chefs spend the first few years of their careers just making rice.
They always have a nice mix of people for dinner and the conversation is always interesting and just flows.
She had edamame for a starter and then served five different types of rolls with a wonderful broccoli, the recipe is from Epicurious and can be found here. This has been a really busy week for us, I am so ready for a total veg night Friday night!
