Meal Plan Monday

What a great weekend! Got a ton done at home and around the house. Friday we went out to dinner, just grabbed a burger at Smashburger which we both really like a lot and then came home and caught up on DVR and email!

Saturday we spent the day doing things around the house, ran to the store to get things for our comfort food potluck that night. We made Panera mac and cheese, buffalo chicken dip, really good cheesy garlic bread and had a wonderful time with a great group of people.

Sunday we did more organizing around the house. Worked on getting some of the closets in the basement put back together and I made this Pumpkin Crunch Cake which was delicious. We met my parents out for dinner and then headed to their house for dessert and some Amazing Race.

The weekend went by way too quickly. I started flipping my closets to Winter. Luckily October has been gorgeous and I have had enough transition pieces to get me through.

I am working from home today. Cleaning my office and hoping to finish flipping the closet. Little Stella is sleeping under my desk, such a good little co-worker.

This week we have a lot going on, but a lot of fun things too.

Monday
Plans - We were hoping to get to the opening of a friends restaurant, but I have had such a sinus headache, so the boy wants to get the yard done, and I will catch up on things that didn't get done this past weekend.
Dinner - I am SO excited to try this recipe. I first found it on Pinterest (are you on Pinterest?I am ADDICTED) and I have been looking forward to trying this Crispy Chicken with Creamy Italian Sauce and Bowtie Pasta with some zucchini.

Tuesday
Plans - The boys cousin band is playing not far from our house, so we are having his aunts and uncles over for a cocktail and quick bite before we head over to the show.
Dinner - appetizers and I think sloppy joe's. I want to have something for people to eat quickly before we head over. I just am not sure what I will make yet. I will update maybe later today.

Wednesday
Plans - Catch up on DVR
Dinner - Brown Sugar and Glazed Pork Loin not sure what we will have with it, maybe mashed potatoes?

Thursday
Plans - Movie screening "Tower Heist"
Dinner - Out, not sure where yet. . .

Friday
Plans - Company HH at Pinstripes
Dinner - Out with co-workers

Saturday
Plans - Conference and JLM Volunteer shift
Dinner - Out I am sure

Sunday
Plans - work on the house
Dinner - Creamy Butter Chicken

I have some restaurant reviews, as well as some project updates to post, hoping to get to that this week!
