Friday we stayed in and caught up on some things at home and spent time cuddling with Stella the kitty. She has really warmed up to us and is so much fun to have around. We are really enjoying her. She spends most of the day curled up on my lap while I work from home. She will play here and there, so there are a couple of toy mice and balls in my office. We wound up just ordering pizza in on Friday night, but it was a nice night to just veg at home and catch up on things.
Saturday we toured a local winery, Warehouse Winery. It was really interesting and a ton of fun and we really enjoyed the wines. After we went out to dinner with the Winos and Foodies group we belong to at McCoy's Public House and had a really good time.
Sunday was cold and dreary. I started breaking out the spring clothes, finally, but I am still not sure if I can wear them. The boy worked on the basement which is coming along. And the kids from across the street came to meet Stella. She did really well with all of them too, didn't run and hide but played with them which was really cute.
This week we don't have much going on. We still need to go and price out cabinets and look at more carpet which we haven't done. We have a TON of leftovers in the fridge for lunches and may even have to have a leftover night for dinner. We also had a close family friend pass away this morning, so we will probably have one family dinner out once the arrangements are made.
