Meal Plan Monday!

Not too bad this week, but lots to do!

Monday - Packers vs. Vikings at home! Whoo Hoo, BIG GAME! We were going to go out and watch the game with friends, but there was just WAY too much to do at home, long day and it was cold and rainy out. SO, we had this Pasta with Chicken Sausage and Broccoli. It was SUPER good, very easy and good for you! We both really liked it!

Tuesday - Twins vs. Detroit, one game play-off at HOME, for the conference title. AND I have a JLM committee meeting, AND they won't move it. I want to go to the game so badly, I am really bummed! I am supposed to bring a dessert, but I am going to bring cheese and crackers instead with some Dove chocolates. I am just not very good at dessert, and no one on our committee eats much of dessert anyway. I hate when I get assigned dessert! The boy will be fending for himself. He loves nights like this because he can have Subway or Taco Bell and I hate both of those so he is in heaven!

Wednesday - Out to dinner with T, Sister J, her mom and the boy. The we are catching a sneak preview of "The Boys are Back" with Clive Owen, I can't wait!

Thursday - Steak with Onion Gravy. Not sure if we are going to have this over noodles, rice or mashed potatoes, it may be a game time decision. A night in, and hopefully we will be watching game 1 of the series with the Yankees (it could be game 2 though, it is up to the Yankees and it is also hoping that we win!).

Friday - Opening of a new restaurant in town. Can't wait to check it out. T, Sister J, the boy and a few others. I seriously hope that it stops raining by then. The boy is also off from today until next Wednesday. I will be working from home too!

Saturday - Spa day! Sister J and I are hitting the spa and then lunch. We are having facials, a massage, our hair washed, deep conditioned and styled, manicures, pedicures, eyebrows waxed as well as our make-up done. All in preparation for a birthday bash we are attending (or really just a good excuse for a spa day!).

Sunday - The boys parents are up at the lake, so we are on our own for dinner and The Amazing Race! Italian Pork Chops are on the menu today with noodles and acorn squash.

We are in the process of cleaning out the freezer, going through all of the food in there until it is completely empty. We will see how I do. Dinners could get a little boring in the mean time. . .
