So as usual, lots going on last week, not so much this weekend, but that is fine by me. We saw a sneak premiere of "Things We Lost in the Fire" with Halle Berry on Wednesday last week. GOOD movie! I am a big fan of Benicio Del Toro, but the movie was really good and I also happen to think Halle Berry is beautiful, I know I am probably not alone in that sentiment. If you get a chance to see the movie though, check it out, it had a wonderful and heartfelt story line. I do enjoy getting to see the sneak preview of a lot of these movies before they are released to the public, we have a couple on task to see this week as well, so I will give you an update later in the week. It has been unseasonably warm here, as it has been in other parts as well, so we were able to have dinner on the rooftop before!
Thursday we went to a wonderful wine tasting at a friends gallery. It was a lot of fun and gave us the opportunity to catch up with some friends we had not seen in a while. I let the boy take his harem (there were six of us girls) over to the View for first Thursday after which was a lot of fun. The place was packed and there was a really good crowd.
Friday we headed out to dinner with my parents. My mom was doing an estate sale so we stopped by to see her and then headed to dinner. It was good to see my parents, we also picked up a few movies at the estate sale, so instead of heading up to the lake directly after dinner we decided to just stay home and watch a movie. I am glad we did because we were then able to catch some of my nieces soccer the next morning before heading out of town. I love seeing the kids, so I was really happy.
It was a rainy but warm weekend and while Saturday was nice for the most part, we got to go for a walk and check out this church,
Sunday was a very rainy day and we just hung out watching movies, playing scrabble and enjoying one anothers company. We also got some projects done over the weekend, so hopefully I will post more on those later this week! We did have a very nice sunset Saturday night,
hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did. What did you guys do this weekend?
