On the Menu Monday (MPM) - Week 6

Why are the weekends flying by at the moment? I know I am probably whining, but really, changing my daily schedule and having to get ready, plan meals, commute and go into an office every day is really throwing off my work/life balance as well as just throwing me off all together. Even my sleep habits have completely changed. I have started working at home again, last Friday was my first day remote and I will be remote two days this week which will be nice. I am much more productive from home, I definitely get more accomplished!

We had a great weekend. Friday was SO cold, we had our neighbors over for happy hour which turned into a very fun evening. Saturday we spent the day running errands and out and about, lunch, shopping and finally home to get ready to head out to our friend M's 40th birthday party. We had a great time, and it was an excellent space with wonderful food. It was also a semi engagement party as well as they got engaged while on vacation in Argentina. Now we have a wonderful wedding to look forward to this fall!

Sunday we got to celebrate G & G's birthdays. We hit the lanes for some bowling, pizza and wings and then headed back to our house for cupcakes and presents. We were all very excited to try Nadia's Cakes who was a Cupcake Wars winner. We had purchased 12 different varieties, and cut them all in half so that we could try a little of a few. They were SO good! Delicious! Really fun find, can't wait to go back for some more!

This week we have another week with very few plans. I have been crawling into bed before 9 pretty much every night and find not getting home until 6 or later every night, well, I have very little time to get dinner on the table and things done at home.
