Grateful Friday!

As the week comes to a close and we all look forward to the weekend, there is a lot to be thankful for.
The boy and I are heading to the lake this afternoon for the weekend, yeah! I cannot wait to get up there, read my books and magazines, have a bottle of wine and just kick back and relax. The weather is supposed to be beautiful too. Maybe a little rain Saturday morning, but that is okay.

Mother's Day is Sunday. I am of course grateful for my mother and the values and lessons in life that she has taught me. I am not going to get to spend Sunday with her, but we will celebrate next week.

Good friends and so rare and special. I am lucky enough to have quite a few located throughout the US. They make wonderful sounding boards and remind you of the special reasons why they are friends with you to begin with.

It looks like (fingers crossed) the BP flip house is finally closing today. It has fallen through three times already, so I am going to hold my breath on this one.

Fresh air, flowers, scenery, good conversation and exercise. I have really been enjoying my morning walks. We have had beautiful weather too though.
