On the Menu Monday (MPM) - Week 52 (last full week of the year!)

We had a really nice weekend, but unfortunately I got hit with the crud, and hard. Like down for the count hard.It started coming on Friday night, but we had neighbors over for cocktails and appetizers, so I powered through. I woke up Saturday morning wondering if I was going to make it through, but we headed out for some errands and then came home and took a 3 1/2 hour nap. Sunday we had our family friend get together that we hosted at our house. 21 one of us, and I woke up feeling really rough but knew I needed to keep going. It was a full day since everyone was showing up around 2 and there was lots to do. I was so happy that my mom and dad were there to help! It turned out to be an absolutely wonderful day, but, by the time I woke up Monday morning, wow, I never even got the license plate number off the truck. These are my moms two very good childhood friends and all of kids have grown up together, and now the kids are getting to grow up together as well. A great shot of all of the girls.

This week is full of holiday festivities! I am just hoping I can power through and hope to feel better. I did go and get a strep culture done, no strep at least, and just clear liquids and rest.
