On the Menu Monday (MPM) - Week 44

We had a great weekend, squeezed a bunch of things in and the weather, while colder, wasn't terrible.

Friday night we did a group dinner out at Pairings, one of our favorite places not far from home. We had a table of 14 and ate family style. There was a great menu and we had a wonderful group of people. We started with a couple of different types of flat bread pizzas and moved on to two different salads, a ceasar and a panzanella and then the main course, grilled chicken stuffed ravioli with spinach and artichokes in a beurre blanc sauce, num, and dessert was mini tiramisou and cannoli's. It was a fun night.

Saturday we spent the day getting ready for a little neighborhood Halloween cocktail party. We did a nacho bar and had a vampire punch as well as wine and beer. And, of course, I didn't take one picture the entire night! I can't believe I did that, but it really came down to the wire, and we were pretty busy getting the food all set up and out. Two couples came in costume, the rest did not, but we left it up to everyone as to whether they wanted to dress up or not. It was a lot of fun, but a late night.

Sunday we spent most of the day with my parents having lunch and catching up with them which was good. My mom even made me some sweater pumpkins, but you will have to wait for a shot of those since I am actually in the office today! I did get plenty of shots of Stella this weekend of course, how I could go without taking one stinking photo Saturday evening but manage to take a ton of her every chance I get, is beyond me.
