Perfect Summer Night!

Last night was one of those quintessential perfect summer nights. The weather was the perfect temperature, the company was wonderful and we had some delicious food and drink. We went to see the boys cousins wife perform, Alison Scott. She is a WONDERFUL singer, has a great voice and is just a lot of fun to watch perform.

The Lake Harriet Band Shell is just picturesque with sailboats going by in the background, families kicking back enjoying one another and people with dogs all over!

After Ali was done singing, they announced that they were going to be showing the olympics live from 9:30 to 11:00. We were really curious to see what it was going to be like, so we stuck around. Boy were we surprised. It was really cool, as they start blowing this big thing up, and the sound came on and it was just awesome. What a great place to root on your country!

Summer is going by way too quickly. I wish we had a couple more months. I love the weather, I love the long nights, I just don't want them to end. . .
