Channeling My Inner Grosgrain Garage. . .

Over the last couple of weeks I have been trying to come up with things to keep me busy. I played a game of Facebook Scrabble with a friend one day. I made some birthday and Valentine's day cards. I read. I watched TV/Movies, got caught up on celebrity gossip. . . but that chick over at the Garage, she always gets my wheels turning. So, I stumbled upon this for my inspiration (seriously, The Idea Room, how awesome is that).

About a week and a half before Valentine's Day, the boy took me to purchase supplies. He cut out the felt circles for me, that was a little tough for me. I pinned, it took about three nights in front of the TV and this is what we came up with.
I decided to go with red and white in more of a polka dot pattern. I love the red and white polka dots for Valentine's decorations.
Don't get me wrong, it was pretty time consuming, but I really wanted something on the door to welcome visitors.
I think this would be a fun little project to do for almost any holiday. I even threatened to make a green one for St. Patrick's day, but the boy retired from felt circle cutting.

To make one of these all you need is about 3 yards of red felt, 1/2 yard of white. Something to trace the circles with, 850 straight pins, scissors and a foam wreath.

Now onto another project. . . .
