Halloween! Centerpiece and Invites!

I don't know why I decided to go spooky this year instead of vintage or more cutesy, I actually HATE snakes, they scare me to bits and pieces! But this what I came up with!

I still need to take a picture of the finished mantle too.

We are hosting our friends (without kids) for Halloween this year. No dress up, we are having a dress up wine event the night before. But I bought a vintage Bingo cage, ball and cards from eBay, so we will play Bingo with prizes no doubt! Lots of fun food and drink and just a good time in general. These are the invites that the boy and I did together. We sealed them up in long black envelopes and off they went in the mail. We have been making a lot of invites lately and I can't decide what I like better, finding them online or making them. . . .the big holiday party is coming up, and I need to decide what I want to do for that one. . . . thoughts? I like the personal touch of making them myself (with the boys help of course) but I also love the classic look of just having them printed and sent to me. . . it is easy too! What do you think?
