I love this time of year too, Mardi Gras, Ash Wednesday, Lent, the whole feeling that it invokes. What are you giving up for Lent this year? Do you give anything up? Fish Friday's gotta love that too.

I voted in the primary election first thing this morning while wearing Mardi Gras beads :) I love this time of year too. It reminds me spring is almost here. (well that's what I tell myself)
This year I gave up all fried foods, which is going to be hard for me living in the south. But it should help with my eating habits (no fast food if I can't have fries).
