Recipe of the Week! Crockpot Blog!

Okay, so I don't have a recipe today for you. I have made a couple of things that I thought about sharing, but I don't have any great pictures. But what I DO have is a great new blog that I found from Today's Creative Blog which is also a great blog, but this is A Year of Crockpotting. The boy got me a new crockpot for Christmas (I know how romantic, right?) but it has three different size bowls that come with it, a 2 qt., 4 qt. and a 6 qt. so that I can make just enough for the two of us, or a little more for leftovers or enough for company. I have to admit, I had never even used a crockpot before I moved back here to MN, but I have to admit they really come in handy. I have not made anything yet in my new crockpot, but now with this new discovery, I can't wait.

Hope you are all having a good Tuesday, I am have SOOOOO much fun playing catch up with work. I basically did not work for two weeks and my project is in crunch mode, fun stuff. I also have not put away my Christmas bins which are now full and packed or redone my mantle. I of course changed my table setting last week (or a new word that I learned last week from reading too many blogs and watching too much Food Network, tablescape) but I need to get on it I guess, time to update the Ta-Da list!

I used my crockpot for the first time this season to make corned beef brisket the other day, and I'm getting ready for some soups coming up. I don't touch it in the summer, but once the weather gets cold I use it a lot.

Thanks for sharing the link to the other page. Sounds great!

Oh, Jilly! That's the crockpot I've been coveting! I am totally interested in hearing your take on it.
Let me know if you need any help thinking of stuff to put in it. Some of my most successful meals came from using frozen meat and a jarred sauce.
Thanks for the visit and for the link!
