Updates

Wow. . . seriously, I do not know where the time has gone. I think this is the first time I have gone three days without posting in a long time. I had a rough week at work last week, one of those weeks where I was really hoping to hit the lottery. I didn't think I was going to make it through the work week. . . this week has not been any better. It is tough when that light goes out i you and you just don't enjoy waking up in the morning and going to work.

Friday night the boy and I volunteered at Rock the Cause's Glitter Ball. It was a ton of fun and there was some great people watching. I spent most of the night sitting next to Miss. Minnesota, which is always fun.

The weekend was devoted to house projects. The boy made a ton of progress on the guest bathroom, I think we are just about ready for the reveal. I love the way it turned out, just as much as the master bath. My family came over to celebrate my birthday and we made two trips to Lowe's and two trips to Home Goods. Overall a good weekend.

Sister J and her new boyfriend took us to dinner Saturday night at Wayzata Eatery which is one of our new favorite local restaurants. We all had wonderful meals, excellent service and that is one place that I will love going back to. Sister J also brought over a bottle of my favorite wine before dinner, The Prisoner, I LOVE this wine, and if you a fan of blends, this is one you should definitely try! There are quite a few wines made by this winemaker and they are all excellent.

We have been busy, and work is a pain. But hoping that things get better.
