Things I am Digging!

So last night, sister J and I proceeded to once again polish off a couple bottles of wine. This time (opposed to Monday evening) A. helped us out. Did I mention that there was not a bar at the JLM meeting? We made up for it! We have both had a tough couple of weeks, so I guess we have been over-indulging. I get to take a break tonight, while she is off to dinner (I am bailing, just beat and the head cold I thought I shook over the weekend is rearing its ugly head again) I will be home catching up on some DVR with the boy.

In the mean time, here are a few of my favorite things for this week.

I picked up this dress a while back, and while we all love a LBD, this one is going to come in handy for so many different occasions. I already wore it for our Mardi Gras party, and I am sure it will make an appearance again.
These pants I just love love love. I can throw them on with a soft comfy tee, a white button down or tee and jean jacket. Heels or ballet flats, very versatile and just oh so easy. The nice thing about these pants is that while they are super easy to just throw on, and oh so comfortable, they look NICE on, and you don't look like a slob in sweats (or my usual yoga pants) while out running around and running errands. And even though I am below average in height, I can actually pull these off with flats!
Did you watch Martha today? Oh how I wish I could have been there, I would have loved to have sat in some of my Lilly and met all of the girls today. I am SO jealous of all of the parties and all of the festivities going on. I recorded it just to watch it again.

The next thing that I just recently was turned onto and would love to share with you guys is Loreal Collagen Wrinkle Filler. Truth be told, I am adding another year to my age at the end of this month, and I love my sun, so I am dealing with a few wrinkles. I also actually have a couple of scars on my face as well which I have always hated, I was scratched by a cat a few years back and unfortunately it left a couple of scars. So, over the past few weeks, I have been using this, and I have actually been amazed to see the difference, it actually really does fill-in the scars and wrinkles. It is a fairly reasonably priced product as well, I think it is about $14.99 at Target!
So, now for a little complaining and things I am NOT digging. We got more snow again yesterday and today it only got up to about 5. Not for nothing people, but I am beyond DONE with winter and the cold weather! I am really in need of some warm weather and some flip flops. Sister J is headed down to Chicago for the weekend, it is supposed to be in the 40's down there, we don't have too much going on this weekend, so maybe I will get a pedicure and spend the day at one of the spas, I think I am due and I could use some cheering up!!!
