I meant to get this posted last week, but. . .anyway. Jill got me going on this, and I really do want to read more than I have been.
Here is what is on my agenda, and yes, I think I am the last person on Earth to read Eat, Pray, Love. . .

It took me a while to read Eat Pray Love too (I hate reading what is 'popular') but I found I enjoyed it. Also, Wedding in December is a good story too, if a little unfinished a the end, but I enjoy most of her books. Happy reading.
Oh, you're not the last one to read Eat, Pray, Love... I haven't read it yet. :) In fact, I haven't read any of the books on your list, although several of them are on my "to-read-soon" list. Thanks for joining SRT '08!
Love the list...and I have not read Eat, Pray, Love either. I did get it on CD for Christmas and have yet to listen to it. I loved the Fourth Hand and The Memory Keeper's Daughter (I gave that away in my first Jill's Book Bag). I have Wedding in December and Open House on my shelf waiting to be read. Have fun! I haven't read any of these but I am going to remember this post so when I am ready for a new book I can refer back! I have been so into period fiction (historical fiction) like The Other Boleyn Girl and The Boleyn Inheritance I think my reading tastes have changed forever - I can't get enough of it!
Haven't read Eat Pray Love either. I couldn't get thru the memory keepers daughter, it came highly recommended, but I couldn't get thru it. I might give it another shot soon. I'm currently reading A Million Little Pieces, by James Frey. I know there was some controversey around it, but I think it's a great read, I'm really enjoying it. (I do love books/movies about drugs, gangs, violence, that whole genre) Please post some book reviews, and let us know what you think! I love reading reviews and I would like to read some of the books on your list!
Loved "Eat Pray Love." I am a big John Irving fan but haven't ever read "Piggy Sneed." "The Fourth Hand" was good - but strange which I guess is par for the course for any Irving book. As RED mentioned, "A million Little Pieces" is great reading - who knows how much is fiction - who cares?! Recently I finished "The Glass Castle" ny Jeannette Walls & loved that - I have been recommending it to anyone who will listen. Can't wait to read some of your reviews!
Oh my god, I'm so jealous! I haven't read a full book since I had my son. He's 2.3 years old. That's really bad. All of your choices look great...I NEED to find some reading time:)
In 2006, I decided I would keep track of how many books I could read in a year. "Night Fall" was my first book. I read it in a couple of days and it was really fun. At the end of 2006, I had read 25 books. My wife decided to do it with me in 2007 so we made it a competition. I read "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" last year and enjoyed it too. Last year I read 30 and my wife read 31. I think the Spring Reading Thing is a great idea. Most people will probably find how much they missed reading and how it is so much more entertaining than TV.

I read Memory Keeper's Daughter and liked it. I gave it a 3 out of 5. I keep track of the books I read and then rank them. I don't have very many 5's. Have you read "A Girl Named Zippy" author Haven Kimmel? That was one of my 5's. Also, the movie adaptation of Memory Keeper's Daughter has been on TV lately.
