Things I am Digging!

Whew, what a busy week and busy time of the year, but I have been taking special notes and saving them just for you guys!

I have been to the dentist a couple of times in the past couple of weeks. A deep cleaning and polishing and a consult with the orthodontist about getting my front tooth fixed. About a year and a half ago, my nephew came up in front of me in the water and I nailed his head with my tooth. My tooth completed shifted and his little white head of hair had a tinge of pink to it. But I also was fortunate enough through Bzzagent to get a free Sonicare with UV Sanitizer toothbrush for free! At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. I didn't like the vibration, but then I found the sensitive setting and I LOVE it. It makes my teeth feel all smooth and polished. It uses less toothpaste, and it is really good for your gums. My hygienist was very excited about this and excited for me to start using it. Even the boy, a purist as he calls himself, whom I thought would never touch a battery operated toothbrush, it peaked his curiosity, I told him all about it and how he could get his own head to use with mine, and whadda know, he loves it too. If you have never used one before, try it, you will be hooked. And if you are not a bzzagent, sign up, I always get lots of fun free stuff to try out.

So this one is kind of geeky, but so am I. . . my mouse died. I was SO upset, I have had that thing for almost 5 years, it was one of the first wireless laptop mice to come on the market, it was small, had a traveling case and would go everywhere, plus it had some pretty decent battery life. But, it had been giving me problems for about a week now, so I picked up a new one and I LOVE it. I cannot believe I went this long without upgrading. The scroll on this one is SO smooth, gotta love that, I actually feel as though I am able to work faster, I wonder if that is even possible?

Okay, now on this one you have to use your imagination a little bit, but for Christmas I asked for this hat in a white sand color and the scarf in the red and white sand with matching red gloves. I have been wearing one of the boys old Navy peacoats and I thought this would go perfectly!

For Christmas this year, for the boys family, we did a photo calendar for everyone in his family. We just received them in the mail yesterday and were so pleased with how they turned out. I cannot wait for everyone to see them. We put birthdays, anniversary's and special dates in as well. I did snack/game baskets for everyone last year, this year we will do the snack baskets again, but put in the calendars instead. Fun, easy, inexpensive (we paid $15 for each one with a code that I had but they are normally $20) and very personalized gift!

Saturday night is my annual holiday cocktail party. I love entertaining and throwing parties with themes. Coming up with the menus, preparing the food, decorating the house and spending time with friends. I still have not decided what I am going to wear yet, it is supposed to be extremely cold that night, but this is what I have in mind.

Ouch on the tooth! I hit a swing (or should I say the swing hit me) when I was in grade school and have had bonding ever since... I'm still weirded out about it! BTW- I love my Sonicare! This one looks fab.

Also, I'm digging your outfit! Super fab!
