Hey guys, really busy week here. I am studying for a test that I have to take for work and about a million other things, so postings are sporadic, but I should be back to "normal" by next week. The boy and I have been busy as usual checking out estate sales on the weekends and working on projects. So I thought I would share a couple of them with you. I will have a few more over the next couple of weeks.
I found this cute little bench in the garage up at the lake. The boys parents were going to throw it out. I would not hear of it.
I painted it a nice pink.
And got some nice pink toille fabric to cover the bench.
A couple of weeks ago the boy and I stopped by an estate sale that was in its final hours and I scored this great lamp with a marble base, shade and globe for $14. It fits perfectly in a corner of my living room. It throws off some great light as well!

Good luck on your test! Can not tell you how excited I am to see you in Chicago.
Jilly, you are as crafty as the day is long! I love what you did with the bench. And I love the peak into your living room, it looks beautiful.
Best of luck on your test!
Love what you did with that bench. You are an inspiration. I have to start looking for projects like that - I used to do the coolest stuff and I've been slacking lately.
Your living room is lovely.
