Things I Love

Here is a meme of things I love, to keep reminding just how much there is to love in life. . .

sound -- laughter, pretty much anyones, but especially my niece and nephews and the boys giggle, yes he has a giggle and I love it.

late night snack -- popcorn, especially black jewel popped on the stove, but not too late or you get a bellyache.

smell -- lilacs in the spring, the ocean or water in the summer, leaves fallen on the ground in the fall and evergreens in the winter.

color combination -- pink and a little green, maybe a little black and white, how about black, light blue and white, or maybe black, red and white oh and lets not forget khaki, navy and green and of course there is always room for some red, white and blue and I look my best in a nice light turquoise with anything and last but not least how about a little brown with a nice light green or pink.

time of year -- I love all times of the year. Each day is a gift and I look forward to the next.

books -- I love books so this one is hard. I have an extensive cookbook collection and I also love a good mystery now and then, some chick lit, something inspiring. . .basically as long as I have a book I am happy. Sometimes I read to discover what I don't like. I am not a big Sci Fi or big romance novel person.

vegetables -- I have not met too many vegetables that I DON'T like. Beets, I am not a huge fan, but then again, I have had a great beet soup. I am willing to try just about anything, but I will say, that I would much rather have fresh and frozen will do, but please don't make me eat them out of a can. I made very good zucchini last night, fresh from my sisters garden, the boy said the best he has ever had. . .high compliment. . .

male actor -- George Clooney, James Gandolfini, Ben Stillar, Jon Cusack (random order)

female actor -- Reese Witherspoon, Julia Styles, Jodie Foster, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner

flower -- Stargazer lily, blue hydrangeas any flower really I love them all

vacation spot -- anywhere that I am relaxed and with loved ones, sometimes I can take a vacation right at home. . . .

pizza -- oh boy, dangerous territory as I have not met too many pizzas I don't like, but if I had to pick a topping it would be pepperoni and onion or mushroom, or if it is good sausage then I like that, green pepper is good, depends on the olives but I like those too, and then if you want to get fancy on me and throw in some artichokes with some sun dried tomato on a brick oven crust I am good there. Okay, now I am hungry and hungry for pizza. . .

sports -- tennis to play, baseball or lacrosse to go to a game and football to watch on tv

subject in school -- History and English

holiday -- everyday is a holiday

perfume -- Sotto Voce by Laura Biagiotti

shoes -- oh way too hard, have you seen my closet? If I had to choose though, I would say that I admire the styles, details and designs of Beverly Feldman if you are not familiar with her, check her out, she also has a great attitude which I admire.

candy -- I do not have a sweet tooth, and if you have ever been to my house or looked in my pocketbook you will know that I always carry candy with me. I have a niece and two nephews who know where I keep the candy at my house and know that I always keep candy with me. The boy likes it too. . .here are some of my standards m & m's, skittles, chewy swee'tarts, skittles, licorice, tootsie pops.

city to shop in -- New York, is there any other?

beauty products -- a mixture, but here are the things I cannot live without, Loreal volumous mascara with the curved brush in black. Bronzer powder, self tanner and lip gloss. But I like to try new things when it comes to all of those.

Item to shop for -- food, home goods, ummm, clothes (duh!) and presents for other people.

TV shows -- Two and a Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, 24, Entourage, Prison Break, Nip/Tuck.

Hope you are all having a very happy Monday, I will fill you guys in on the details of things in the future, at the moment, I am waiting for the dust to settle and trying to remember just how wonderful life can really be. . .

I love your philosophy that every day is a holiday! I would love to know how you prepared the zucchini, you always have such great recipes.
