Basketball and Randomness

We had a good time at the game last night and they won, which was good. We ran into a couple of guys at the fundraiser before the game. Okay, really we met them in a sports restaurant/bar that is in my building across the street from the Target Center, but it is also in the same building where they were having the dinner. We hit it off with them and had a really good time.

I also ran into a co-worker and a friend of his who were also going to the game, their seats were very close to ours so we sat and chatted with them a while too. We sat next to a couple, and I kept looking at the gentleman, and looking, and looking. Why? Because he looked so much like David Letterman it was not even funny. He looked back at me smiled, and he even had the gap in his front teeth. He goes, go ahead, I said wow you look like David Letterman (the Timberwolves were playing the Pacers, so it could have happened, no?) his wife laughed and goes, like that is the first time he has heard that one. Okay, completely random. We had a lot of fun with the two guys we met and even exchanged contact information with them. Is that weird, that the boy and I pick up a couple of guys? Again, more randomness.

Having company for dinner, so I will be making something nummy, not sure what yet, but it will be something nummy. I have a couple of ideas, just not sure which one will work out.

The boy and I have decided to get away next weekend, not sure where yet, but it will be nice to get away for a couple of days. It probably will not be too warm, but I think we are both getting a little bit of cabin fever!

It is supposed to snow again tomorrow. I really hope I don't have to post another picture of me with a grumpy face. . . . .

Wait, I'm totally confused, was it Letterman or not?? I'm dying over here about your possible brush with fame!

Nope wasn't Letterman, but could have been his double. But I have met Letterman, which is why I was just staring at this guy. He used to play tennis with the people that owned the estate where I rented a cottage in Greenwich. He was a pretty good tennis player too.
